ABOUT

Hi, I am Tan, a researcher at Sakana AI, where I work on methods that make model adaptation easier to specify and reuse in the age of LLMs. Recently, I have been working on Text-to-LoRA and Doc-to-LoRA, systems that generate task-specific LoRA adapters from natural language descriptions and documents. We published a blogpost on the work here.

Before Sakana AI, I was a research intern at NAVER LABS. I completed my Ph.D. at IST, VISTEC, and my B.Eng. in Computer Engineering at Chulalongkorn University. My earlier research focused on reinforcement learning, cooperative multi-agent learning, and meta-learning.
